Procedure:
1. Put the 3 tablespoons Pau d’arco bark into the pot
2. Add one quart of water, then begin to heat
3. After water starts to boil, reduce heat and "low Boil" for at least 20 minutes
4. Then add a little more water to bring liquid level back to start level
5. You can make it a bit stronger if you are comfortable with the taste
6. Do not use aluminium or tin pots or containers
7. Strain the tea through a piece of linen cloth, tea strainer or coffee press device
8. Serve luke warm or cooler
9. Store the tea in a glass container

Pau d’arco has been known to have no serious side effects but not be suitable with other herbs, supplements and medications. This herbal treatment is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
